Ever wonder how the Trove Fashion team puts together our biweekly Instagram Story sales? Today, we’re taking a behind-the-scenes look at how we curate these sales for you!
First things first: make sure to follow us on Instagram @TroveFashion. Don’t forget to click the bell icon in the top-right corner of our profile to turn on story notifications so you don’t miss any new posts! The start time for our Story sales varies from week to week.
Twice a week, our team pulls a small collection together for the story sale. We aim to share a variety of sizes and styles, so there’s something for everyone.
Next, we work on photographing every piece. We style items on a mannequin so you can get a good look at the details:
Next, we gather the details about each item, including the size and price. While we don’t include specific measurements for each garment, many brands have comprehensive sizing guides on their websites. You can often find these popular brands in our sales: Lululemon, Aritzia/Babaton, Kate Spade, and more!
Once the listings are posted on our Stories, we get to do what we love most – connect with our customers to help them add a few beautiful new pieces to their wardrobe. We absolutely love being able to chat with you!
After each sale, we get all the orders ready to be picked up or shipped out.
You can pick up your order during opening hours at our shop at 1000 Wellington St. West in the Hintonburg neighbourhood of Ottawa. (Our team recommends a stop at SuzyQ Doughnuts across the street while you’re here!) We also pack orders to ship out across the country.
