Book an appointment for up to 20 items. All items must be freshly laundered and neatly folded in a bag or basket.

Email us at info@trovefashion.com to arrange for expired item pick-up. Please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice.

Outlined below is the cut you would take based on what price we give your item.

We send e-transfers free of charge for balances over $100 and at a charge of $2 for balances under $100. If your balance is under $100, feel free to come to the store any time during our store hours to collect your balance in cash. If you decide to spend your balance back in the store, you will get 20% off your entire purchase.

We will accept the following:

• Items in season (see below) and in line with current trends

• Clothing

• Jewelry

• Accessories such as sunglasses, purses, scarves and hats

• Footwear

• Outerwear

We will NOT accept the following:

• Skinny jeans, bridesmaid and/or prom dresses, chunky jewelry, long pendant necklaces, waterfall and/or long flimsy cardigans

• Items with tears, odours, missing buttons, stains, or other flaws

Spring: January to March

What we are looking for: Transitional pieces, fun colours, rain jackets and boots

Styles we love: Oversized denim jackets, oversized trench coats, oversized poplin shirts, matching cardigan sets, miniskirts, cargo pants, lace, crochet and stripes.

Summer: April to July

What we are looking for: Light colours and light fabrics (linen and cotton), neutrals, summer dresses and shorts

Styles we love: Anything linen! Think ‘Coastal Grandmother’, in other words light, breezy neutrals in cotton and/or linen and cream knits, flowy/wide-leg pants and matching sets.

Fall: August to September

What we are looking for: Earth and jewel tones in warmer fabrics (wool and cashmere)

Styles we love: Anything cashmere! Basic cardigans, leather jackets (oversized, not fitted), chunky loafers, over-the-knee boots, wide-leg trousers, cargo pants, miniskirts, shackets and fringe details.

Winter: October to December

What we are looking for: Warmer fabrics such as cashmere and wool, winter accessories, purses in darker colours (white is the exception)

Styles we love: Faux leather (skirts pants and tops), chunky boots, chunky loafers, wide leg pants, cargo pants, miniskirts, oversized shirts, cropped sweatshirts, oversized, shackets, winter/snow boots (ex: Sorel or Pajar).

**NOTE: we take a minimal amount of outerwear BUT we are taking jackets in line with the following styles: faux fur, with Sherpa details, super long and/or oversized puffers**

Non-seasonal items

Denim, sunglasses, jewelry, blazers, sneakers and purses.

Denim: High waist, wide leg, straight leg, barrel jeans. We are no longer accepting skinny jeans!

Jewelry: Minimalist, delicate pieces

Purses: We look for more bright and fun colours in the spring/summer and darker tones in the fall/winter.

Blazers: Oversized, cinched waist, hourglass blazers we love! We are not looking for fitted ‘office’ style blazers

Athletic wear: Lululemon or similar quality brands.

You can collect your balance in store at any time free of charge. Balances over $100 will be sent via e-transfers at no charge, there is a $2 fee for e-transfer requests under $100.

Please email info@trovefashion.com to request a payout via e-transfer. E-transfers are sent Tuesday and Friday mornings.

The reason for the $2 fee: Corporate bank accounts charge per e-transfer. Due to the numerous requests for e-transfers on small account balances, we have implemented a fee for accounts under $100 to help us recoup some of these costs and control the amount of e-transfers each month.
