Consignment is the business of selling our customers items on their behalf for a portion of the profit. Anyone can consign with Trove but all pieces are inspected for quality and handpicked for style so you can shop with ease.

Spring: January to March

What we are looking for: Transitional pieces, fun colours, rain jackets and boots

Styles we love: Oversized denim jackets, oversized trench coats, oversized poplin shirts, matching cardigan sets, miniskirts, cargo pants, lace, crochet, stripes, checkerboard print and vintage (specifically 70’s) vibes.

Summer: April to June

What we are looking for: Light colours and light fabrics (linen and cotton), neutrals, summer dresses and shorts

Styles we love: Anything linen! Think ‘Coastal Grandmother’, in other words light, breezy neutrals in cotton and/or linen and cream knits. Flowy/wide leg pants, chunky and/or braided sandals, matching sets (think oversized blazer and shorts, mini skirt or wide leg trousers) and bucket hats.

Fall: July to September

What we are looking for: Earth and jewel tones in warmer fabrics (wool and cashmere)

Styles we love: Anything cashmere! Bomber jackets, belted jackets, leather jackets (oversized is a plus), chunky loafers, over the knee boots, wide leg trousers, cargo pants, miniskirts, shackets and fringe details.

*No more fur vests please!*

Winter: October to December

What we're looking for: Warmer fabrics such as cashmere and wool, winter accessories, purses in darker colours (white is the exception)

Styles we love: Faux leather (skirts pants and tops), chunky boots & chunky loafers, wide leg pants, cargo pants, miniskirts, oversized shirts, cropped sweatshirts, oversized blazers, shackets, winter/snow boots (ex: Sorel or Pajar).

**NOTE: we are taking in a very limited amount of outerwear at this time BUT we are taking jackets in line with the following styles: faux fur, with Sherpa details, super long and/or oversized puffers**

Non-seasonal Items

We typically take these items all year with some exceptions.

Denim, sunglasses, jewelry, blazers, sneakers and purses.

Denim: High waist, wide leg. We are taking a minimal amount of skinny jeans, anything resembling a ‘jegging’ will not be considered.

Jewelry: Minimalist / delicate pieces

Purses: We look for more bright and fun colours in the spring/summer and darker tones in the fall/winter.

Blazers: OVERSIZED!

Rest assured that you’ll be consulted on the price point of your designer and high-end pieces to come to a price that feels fair for both parties.

If your clothes do not sell after the 10 week period, they will be donated to a women's shelter on your behalf. If you do not want to have your items donated to a women's shelter, please contact us (by phone or email) on or before the expiry date to let us know that you plan to pick up your items.

When you bring your items in we will provide you with an account number for MyResaleWeb. You can find your account at the top right hand corner of our website or you can go to myresaleweb.com, enter the information and check your balance!

Hats and scarves due to COVID, wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, formal-wear as well as anything from the following brands: Forever 21, Walmart, Old Navy, Smart Set, Mexx, Jacob, Rickis, Gap Factory, Garage, Holister, Abercrombie & Fitch, Jacob, Dressbarn, Liz Claiborne, Fairweather , RW & Co. and Suzy Shier.

Have a designer item that is missing the original receipt, dust bag or authenticity card? We work with a third part authenticity company to provide you with an authenticity certificate for your item!

Please note that there is a $25 fee for any items which are confirmed to be non-authentic.

Please contact us on or before the expiry date to let us know that you plan to pick up your items. We will get your items collected that day, you can come by anytime during our store hours to pick them up. We will hold onto them for you for one week from the date they are collected.

This can be found in two places. In the email received from us under the list of consignment items and on myresaleweb.com indicated as 'out date'.

We price all of the items, however, we are always open to suggestions. If you have a particular price point in mind for an item(s), please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate within our standards.

Our typical price point is 50% of retail with the exception of items that are brand new with tags still attached which are priced between 55%-60% of retail price.
