Five Local Shops We Love!

#Support Local is more than just a trending hashtag. At Trove Fashion, we strongly believe that we would be nowhere without the support of our community. We have made so many friends in our shop, in our neighbourhood, and in the business community!

While we LOVE sharing our styling tips with you, this month, we want to share some local shopping tips! Read on to learn about five of our favourite local businesses.

Bee Savvy Fine Foods
@beesavvyfinefoods

Location: 90 John St N, Arnprior, ON

I met Alicia about a little over 3 years ago, not long after I first opened the doors to Trove, when we decided we would start carrying some local artisan products. Not only is Alicia one of the kindest people you will ever meet, her items flew off the shelf and we had a waiting list for honey to be restocked. This is not surprising since her honey is one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted! Bee Savvy has expanded to open a fine foods store in Arnprior. This adorable shop carries a fantastic selection of locally sourced items! Definitely worth checking out if you like delicious food and supporting local!

How to support Bee Savvy: Their grocery store in Arnprior is open for in-store shopping where you can explore their range of products as well as delicious gourmet foods. You can also find their body care items online at www.beesavvy.ca/shop/.

Santini Gallery
@santinigallery

Location: 422 1/2 Preston Street Ottawa, Ontario

The owner of this beautiful gallery, located in the heart of little Italy, is Lauryn Santini. Lauryn is extremely talented, knowledgeable and has an eye for beautiful art that is just so impressive. Supporting local artists is so important, and Lauryn does such an amazing job! Santini gallery carries local, affordable, original art as well as locally made jewelry and candles. Such a beautiful spot!

Katye Landry
@katyelandrydesigns

Katye Landry is a local jewelry designer that carries minimalist inspired jewelry. I have 2 of her necklaces which are definitely a staple in my wardrobe, I seriously wear them almost every day. They are casual yet elegant and just so easy to wear with almost any outfit. Not to mention one of her necklaces has been seen on the show ‘Workin’ Moms’… how cool is that?

How you can support Katye Landry: Shop her online store at www.katyelandry.com and follow her on Instagram!

PranaShanti Yoga Centre
@pranashantiyoga

Location: 950 Gladstone Ave, Ottawa, ON

Before the pandemic this was my go to spot for yoga, healing and just some self-love! This beautiful spot offers yoga, meditation, RMT & healing treatments which we can all use a lot of right about now! An authentic, warm and friendly atmosphere with a calming energy hard to find anywhere else… hands down my favourite yoga studios in Ottawa. I cannot wait to check out the new studio, it looks absolutely beautiful!

Preloved Ottawa
@prelovedottawa

Location: 455 Churchill Avenue North, Ottawa, ON

I literally buy 90% of my clothes from Trove but have purchased from Preloved in the past and not only loved my purchase but the service was great! It is hard not to include these girls in this list because they just do such a good job. Having an intimate knowledge of how much work is involved in consignment and selling online specifically, I have so much respect for these girls! Trust me, they are busy! Also they always have such cute things!!

How you can support Preloved: Shop their Instagram stories! Follow @prelovedottawa and DM them during their drops to claim an item.
